Committed Locally, Thinking Globally

In 1994, the AEGON Group, which boasts over a hundred years of life insurance experience, began to provide professional insurance planning services and products to local customers in Taiwan. AEGON Taiwan merged the inforce business in Taiwan of AFLAC, Transamerica and AXA between 1998 and 2001. By doing so, AEGON Taiwan committed itself to a long-term development plan in Taiwan and accelerated growth. Moreover, the Company has devoted itself to both honoring sound and sustainable operations and providing customers with professional and needs-based services and products, including insurance protection and asset allocation planning for a better future and fulfilling dreams of life. Recently, TransGlobe Life launched a series of retirement products with a view to helping customers anticipate and prepare for a good and happy life in old age – “The Happy Retirement Series”. TGL aims to become the Retirement Expert in the industry and the first brand coming to the mind of customers when they think of insurance and retirement planning.
